Core Construction Training Program

As the construction industry continues to evolve, so does workforce training. The CORE Construction Training Program has been developing entry-level construction professionals since 2008 and serves as the foundation for career growth in the trades — from entry-level craft professional to Crew Leader, Foreman, and beyond.
This expanded 10-week program provides essential construction knowledge, hands-on foundational skills, and enhanced safety training that today’s construction workforce demands.
Safety Certifications Included
This course includes major industry-recognized safety training:
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction
- Fall Protection Training
- CPR / AED/ First Aid Certification
These certifications help students become job-ready, safer on the jobsite, and more valuable to employers.
CORE is also the first step of Year One for all trade and apprenticeship programs, designed to provide students with the basic knowledge and skills required across all construction trades. The combined class format allows students to understand how different trades work together and how their role fits into the larger construction process.
This program is ideal for:
- New trade workers and apprentices
- Employees preparing to enter an apprenticeship program
- Assistant project managers
- Office personnel working in construction companies
- Warehouse and yard personnel
- Anyone who wants a better understanding of construction trades and jobsite expectations
CORE provides the foundation for a successful career in construction — building skilled, safe, and knowledgeable construction professionals from the ground up.
