Plumbing/Gasfitting Masters/Journey Person’s Exam Prep Course

June 12, 13, 14, 15 from 5:00PM - 8:00PM

This course meets for 4 nights at ABC Metro Washington CraftMasters Training Academy (CTT) from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Classes will meet on the evenings of June 12, 13, 14, and 15. 

This course is designed to prepare you for the master/journey person’s Plumbing/Gasfitting Exams.

Supplementary knowledge and on-the-job training are placed into practical sense and understanding of the current plumbing codes. This class will provide intensive study of the International Plumbing Code and International Gas Code.

Maryland dictates that anyone who constructs, alters, replaces and/or repairs plumbing shall complete the requirements and be licensed as a Journey Person’s.

PLEASE NOTE:  The course will be taught using the following books. These books can be provided to you at cost ($460). A link can be found below to preorder your books. They will be ready for you upon your arrival. The books/editions below will be used for in-class instruction.

You will need these books to effectively take the class. You may choose to purchase them separately, however, books will not be provided to you on the day of the event.

2. International Fuel Gas Code 2018
3. International Plumbing Code 2018
4. Backflow Prevention Theory and Practice 3rd Edition

This course does not guarantee that student will pass the state or regulatory exam; Textbooks NOT Included unless you purchase them from us at the additional cost of $460 or get them on your own.  Please know we will only provide the entire group of four books, they will be new, and we cannot take individual book orders.  If you only need one or two of the books or are willing to buy used books to save money, we encourage you to quickly go purchase them on your own.
