ABC San Diego's 50th Anniversary Gala & Excellence in Construction Awards

This year, our annual Excellence in Construction Awards has become something bigger. Join ABC San Diego for a black-tie gala marking 50 years of Associated Builders and Contractors of San Diego — a milestone celebration we'll only host once.

Expect a night worthy of the occasion: whiskey and champagne tastings, entertainment, a cigar bar, dinner among ABC National leadership, past ABC San Diego Chairs, and industry leaders, plus a look back through five decades of merit shop construction in San Diego and more. It's recognition, inspiration, and toast-worthy moments all in one evening.

The Excellence in Construction (EIC) Awards honor outstanding projects and companies demonstrating innovation, safety, quality, and technical excellence. We'll also recognize the people behind the work through ABC San Diego's Construction Workforce Awards:

4:45 p.m. – Guest Check-In Opens

5:00–6:00 p.m. – Anniversary Happy Hour Reception featuring whiskey and champagne tastings, networking, and a walk through ABC's 50-year history

6:30 p.m. – Dinner Service

7:00 p.m. – Excellence in Construction Awards, Construction Workforce Awards, and Special Anniversary Program featuring distinguished speakers, ABC National leadership, and recognition of ABC San Diego's Past Chairs

9:00–10:00 p.m. – 50th Anniversary After Party & Celebratory Gala
