Introduction to Lighting Controls: Wired, Wireless & More

Instructor: Matt Strozewski | 4 Hrs. | 1 Day

In this class, students will explore the fundamentals of wired and wireless digital lighting control systems, from the discovery of electricity to modern control components like relays, contactors, and motion sensors. The course also covers essential terminology related to Title 24. Through hands-on exercises, students will gain experience with basic programming, design, and industry-specific vocabulary.

• Full attendance is required to receive a Certificate of Completion.
• This course qualifies toward the 32-hour state Electrical Certification Renewal requirement.
• *SE Employers/Members will be charged for no-shows or late cancellations.

Cancellation & Refunds
Cancellation and refund requests must be submitted by email at least three (3) business days prior to the course start date. Requests received after this period may not be eligible for a refund.

No-Show Policy for SE Journeypersons
If an SE-eligible registrant does not attend and fails to cancel at least three (3) business days in advance, the employer or member will be invoiced for the full course cost.

Low Enrollment Policy
ABC SoCal reserves the right to reschedule or cancel courses due to insufficient enrollment. Notification will be sent via email no later than 48 hours before the scheduled start date.

Registrations are non-transferable once confirmed. Makeup sessions are not available for missed classes.
