What's New Nonresidential Mechanical and Plumbing Title 24 Part 6 Requirements

This workshop takes place

 Thursday, March 12, 2026, from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Wondering what's changed with the new California Building Energy Efficiency Standards (Title 24, Part 6 or Energy Code)? Join us for this lunch-and-learn presentation where we will review the changes for nonresidential electrical systems.

We will review the 2025 Energy Code Mandatory and Prescriptive requirements for nonresidential HVAC and Covered Processes (such as commercial kitchens and pools/spas). We will also take a look at the new requirements for Service Water Heating in nonresidential and hotel/motel buildings.

The presentation will be one hour followed by an additional hour for Q&A. Lunch will be provided!

About the Presenter: Martyn Dodd, principal of EnergySoft and an Energy Code Ace expert instructor. With 35+ years in residential and commercial energy analysis, Martyn has been at the center of California Title 24 compliance, including developing industry-standard tools like EnergyPro, COMPLY 24, and the California Energy Commission’s Perform software, and co-authoring the 1992 Nonresidential Alternative Calculation Method Manual that set the blueprint for code compliance software procedures.
