This course is designed to provide proper knowledge of blueprint reading as it relates to the architectural and building construction industry. This course covers the theory of orthographic projections, reading floor plans and elevation drawings, symbols and notations, scaling and dimensioning practices, materials of construction; reading blueprints for structural information, electrical and mechanical trades blueprints; reading detail drawings, plot plans, specifications, steel and reinforced concrete.

Participants will need a computer or tablet with internet access and Zoom capability. Materials will be provided prior to the first class. A Zoom link will be provided to registrants prior to class starting.

1) To receive the ABC of Metro Washington member rate, registrants MUST be a current member of ABC of Metro Washington or another Maryland ABC chapter. Current membership will be verified prior to start of the class.

2) As a non-member, if you register at the member rate, you will be charged the full-non-member rate PLUS a $50 processing fee.  We will also hold completion documents until we resolve any payment issues.
