Fiber Fusion Splicing Training – (Jeff Lubka) [3 Hrs.] (Days: 1)

The Fiber Optic Fusion Splicing course covers fusion splicer overview, operations, and best practices. We will cover the various types of fusion splicers as well as parts of a fusion splicer. The course will review the five steps to fusion splicing: fiber optic strip, clean, cleave, fuse, and sleeve heat.  An overview of fiber optic splice on connectors will cover the various types of connectors and installation benefits.
