This workshop focuses on safety, productivity, quality, minimizing failures (esp. when welding to steel), and extending tool life. Participants will earn a factory certification for exothermic welding for 36 months. Specs increasingly require contractors to show evidence of factory certification training, especially on Federal and Military projects.

This workshop is an indoor/classroom session and also hands-on welding in the shop or outside.

Prerequisites: PPE, long-sleeved shirts, leather
welding gloves (Can be shared), eye protection.
