Continuing Education Classes

(Matthew Strozewski) [4 Hrs.] (Days: 1) {Anaheim} This class covers wired and wireless digital lighting control, the discovery of electricity, relays, contactors, motion sensors and Title 24 terms. Students will engage in hands-on exercises to learn basic programming, design and terminology. -This course counts toward the electrical certification renewal- *SE-Full member course cost will be charged to the employer for no-shows or late cancellations.

(Bill Petry) [6 Hrs.] (Days: 2) {San Fernando} This course is designed to help recognize and identify basic construction drawing terms, components, symbols, schematic logic, types, and uses of diagrams/schematics, scales, and conversions. -This course counts toward the electrical certification renewal- *SE-Full Member class cost will be charged to the employer for no-shows or late cancellations.

(Sean Nelson) [3 Hrs.] (Days: 1) {Riverside} This course will cover lockout/tagout applications, individual employee control procedures, and complex lockout/tagout procedures. Removal of lockout/tagout devices, temporary release, and return to service. -This course counts toward the electrical certification renewal- *SE-Full member course cost will be charged to the employer for no-shows or late cancellations.

(Fernando Valencia) [4 Hrs.] (Day: 1) {San Fernando} OSHA’s electrical standards address this serious workplace hazard which exposes employees to such dangers as electric shock, electrocution, fires, and explosions. The objective of the standards is to minimize the potential hazards by specifying design characteristics of safety in the use of electrical equipment and systems. *SE- Full member course cost will be charged to the employer for no-shows or late cancellations.

(Johnny Contreras) [4 Hrs.] (Days: 1) {Anaheim} This course introduces blueprints used in construction specific to the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems that are likely to be found on the job site. *SE-Full Member class cost will be charged to the employer for no-shows or late cancellations.
